Fall in love all over again as Troy Quinn and the orchestra perform music from the greatest love stories of our time including Casablanca, Gone With the Wind and Romeo and Juliet.?Superstar Violinist Sandy Cameron will enthrall you as she performs Danny Elfman?s ?Edward Scissorhands Suite? accompanied by vocalists from Sarasota?s Key Chorale and dancers from the Sarasota Ballet, and the Tango from ?Scent of a Woman.? The concert will close with the sweeping and powerful ?Symphonic Dances? from West Side Story. Vermont's EASY STREETHusband and wife musical team Lisa Brande and Mark Trichka return for their annual VPL concert. They perform a variety of songs on a variety of instruments including guitars, mandolin and fiddle. Their music ranges from pop standards to bluegrass. No reservations necessary.

The award-winning, impactful, and diverse original works created at the Hermitage are presented in renowned concert halls, theaters, museums, and galleries throughout our region and across the globe. Works created at the Hermitage have been shown at New York?s Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center, The Museum of Modern Art, The Vienna Opera, Roundabout Theatre Company, Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, Mass MoCA, The Kennedy Center, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, to name a few. Audiences in the greater Sarasota area are offered a ?sneak peek? into the works and minds of these brilliant artists through the Hermitage?s community programs, many of which are in collaboration with fellow arts and cultural organizations throughout the Gulf Coast region. In addition to the unique and invaluable experience we provide to artists, we take pride in our complementary missions of historic preservation, ecological restoration, and community engagement. Children are invited to read with certified pet therapy dogs from the Suncoast Humane Society?Pet Therapy Team. This program encourages conversation and develops reading and communication skills. The dogs love the attention and the kids love the interactions.

They understood that economically, the United States was growing by leaps and bounds, however, culturally our nation was perceived as a backwater lacking in significance. Morgan made it his mission to elevate the status of America on the world?s stage. As such, he hired the remarkable Belle da Costa Greene to manage, curate, and purchase rare drawings, documents, books, and manuscripts for his Pierpont Morgan Library. She became known as one of the most powerful people in the art and book world.
